Keith is not one to follow the road most travelled; after working at Rudd Estate and later for Saintsbury Winery, he jumped at the opportunity to make sparkling wine at Schramsberg in 2002. Now with over 15 years of experience crafting wines in Napa Valley, Keith's minimalist winemaking style is to produce elegant and balanced wines that emphasize the varietal characteristics of the grapes as well as their individual growing sites. Utilizing small lot fermentations, site specificity, and working closely with growers in the vineyard, Keith has a proven record of success.
Previous to his winemaking career, Keith was a professional road and MTB cyclist, racing for teams in Norway, France and the USA. Keith's experience with cycling taught him team building and goal setting skills and most importantly, patience. Using these valuable skills, Keith brings together all the winemaking elements from vineyard to bottle.
Keith holds a B.S. in Enology from California State University Fresno and an M.B.A. from Sonoma State University.
